Despite the threat rail strikes the bike train service to Fen Ditton ran as expected. Like a certain budget airline, extra time had been added to the schedule to ensure there was no chance of arriving late and to improve punctuality figures. As it happened, we arrived at the race before the organiser.
Ben had planned a 40/60 minute streetO score course which provided some interesting route choice. No-one managed to visit all the controls, and there was possibly one control that was visited by no-one. We think James Hoad may have managed to get all the controls had he been taking part, but he wasn't. Some of us enjoyed a drink in the sun after our run before collecting the junior controls and heading back back for the customary CUOC social
