I hope everyone enjoyed themselves on Wednesday night. Below, you can find results. I would have uploaded them to Winsplits / Splitsbrowser for you to study them more closely to your heart's content, but because of the amount of altering I have had to do to the file, it's now not in any recognisable form for any of these websites, so you'll have to make use of what's below. There are several different combinations, so you can see how you compared to people on just the heats combined, or across all three courses - think of the fun you can have analysis where you lost time!
As you know, the map was drawn specially for this event, I hope you all found it satisfactory!! Well done to Ed Low who managed to spot the deliberate mistake.... ;-) I will make sure that radiator is moved to the correct side of the corridor for next time!
The courses were meant to challenege your MicrO navigation, which I hope they did! On every control there was at least 1 person who got it right, so it was possible to have a "clean" run, as more people did when they got into the map more.
There is a .pdf file of the All Controls map on the CUOC website so you can see where all the different controls were. In the splits, I have put which wrong control you punched - it will make more sense when you look at it!
Well done to our new MicrO Champions:
Oliver Hague (WAOC Junior)
Helen Bickle (WAOC Senior Woman)
Caroline Louth (WAOC Vet Woman)
Peter Allen (WAOC Vet Men)
Tom "beaten by 2 seconds" Louth (WAOC Senior Men)
Andrea "not even at University yet" Štefková (CUOC Woman)
Ben "injured" Windsor (CUOC Men).
Hopefully you'll all come back next time - once we iron out all the small things & I find a way to produce results quicker, we'll be fine!
Matthew Vokes (CUOC)
