=The Races

A nice and gentle race to introduce you to orienteering in the centre of Cambridge. Turn up anytime 2-3pm, allow an hour to try a race or two and have a chat. If you've never orienteered before, or only done a lame version in school, come along! We'll have coaches on hand to show you the ropes. Everyone welcome, even if you're not a fresher or if you are already a pro orienteer. It's FREE, and you can keep a map of Lammas Land!

It would be useful if you could use the Facebook page to give us an idea of the number of people who might attend.

==What should I wear?

Some kind of sports kit is recommended - jogging bottoms or running shorts would be fine. Jeans are not advisable. Please wear trainers and dress according to the weather.

==What do I need?

You shouldn't need to bring anything to this session. The club will provide the maps and we will have compasses and electronic timing chips available to borrow. The session is free of charge.

==Where are the races taking place?

The races are taking place on Lammas Land and you should meet us about here. Look for the large CUOC banner flag with people standing around it.
